At Qube we’re always striving to improve the studios in our space and to make your experience as members as easy as possible. As of today we’re very excited to be able to offer multicam functionality in Podcast studio 23. Here’s everything you need to know…
Who is it for?
This setup is designed to be as simple as possible! Whether you’ve been recording podcasts for years, or you’ve just started, this studio will be just what you need.
What can I use it for?
This room is for anyone recording a podcast from the solo podcaster up to a group of four.
How many credits does it cost?
15 credits per hour.
How do I book an induction?
If you’re not feeling confident about the studio set-up and you’d like an in-person induction, feel free to book one by messaging the Help Desk on the app and one of the community team will get back to you.
How do I set the camera angles?
Simply use the Logitech remotes on the console unit to change the camera angles or zoom in and out.
How do I get my content?
Bring a Blackmagic compatible SSD and simply plug this into the back of the ATEM in the USB OUT slot.
How do I get my audio?
Make sure to check your audio levels on the podtrack 8 and ensure that the audio output dial on the right is turned up.
Make sure “MIC 1” is turned on in the top left of the ATEM as seen above.
How do I film my podcast?
Once you have plugged your SSD into the ATEM the light above the “Rec” button will go green if your SSD is compatible.
Press “REC” to start recording and you are ready to go!
When you’re done recording press stop, remove your SSD and you will have your full audio and video files.
Where can I submit my feedback?
This is our first time working with Logitech Rally cameras and an ATEM Blackmagic switcher. We want your feedback on how to add, improve and make this the ultimate space for you. If you have any thoughts or equipment requests, drop your comments here.
